FSDA Partners with State Representative Janet Cruz and State Representative Ed Narain on Elder Fraud Education Program
On July 13th, FSDA teamed up with FINRA, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation and two Tampa area legislators to educate the public on Elder Fraud and Identity Theft. The first presentation was hosted by State Representative Janet Cruz at the Town and Country Senior Center and the second presentation was offered by State Representative Ed Narain at the 34th Avenue Church of God. The Panel was headlined by Rob Mascio who is the Manager of FINRA’s Securities Helpline for Seniors program and Alex Toledo, Deputy Chief, Bureau of Financial Investigations at Florida’s Office of Financial Regulation. Also participating on the panels were Wiand Guerra King attorneys Kacy Donlon and Peter King both FSDA members. The presentations were well received and the attendees were eager to share their own experiences and ask great questions of our panelists.
